I love watching tango.

The dance moves are fluid and in sync even though legs seem to be moving in one direction and bodies in another. And, the two partners have some kind of unspoken yet palpable communication going on which enhances the dance. When I watch tango I am aware of the music, the moves of the dancers and this unseen but very real energy of graceful elegance.

What if you could make BIG shifts in your life the same way?

How often have you said to yourself that change is hard? It can seem that way when you are facing a major challenge that seems overwhelming – like looking at a hiking trail from the trail head as it snakes up the side of the mountain. Sheesh…How am I going to do that? And yet, you do it…one step at a time.

Elegant shifts are like that. One graceful step at a time.  Even if the step is a difficult one the ‘grace’ comes from how you are holding that step inside yourself.

When you have embodied new reference points of self-compassion, self-loving and self-acceptance, no matter what, each move, each tiny shift is an expansion into that unseen and yet real experience of something bigger than you. When you aligned inside with what is the most sacred power of who you are the energy that flows through you comes from you and yet beyond you.

DOING change can be violent to your nature – it has a sense of urgency, fear and pain. And it can feel like you are slogging through mud and battling unconscious forces that seem to be working against you.

BEING change has an ease and flow. There are times of outer movement, times of no outer  movement and times of rest. And yet inside the music of what is calling you forward is always playing…and the inner sacred ambition you were born to express is always in step and aligned.

What is the shift you want to make in your life? and how could you do it with more ease, more flow and more grace?
